Cardiologist

Duties and responsibilities:  A cardiologist is someone in the medical field who provides health care to patients with heart disorders. They will diagnose and treat cardiovascular diseases and many will perform both minor and major surgeries. This challenging career carries a lot of responsibility

Salary: $512,000 annually

Education: first, an aspiring cardiologist must have a bachelor's degree in order to get into medical school. The most logical pre-med bachelor degrees include courses in chemistry, mathematics, engineering or psychology. Then one must gain a passing score on the MCAT (Medical College Admission Test).

Reflection: I do not wish to be a cardiologist. It is not an interest for me to become one. Simply, it is too much school and I hate people. What if I accidentally poke someone’s heart and they die? That seems so horrible I choose to just not become a cardiologist. So this is why I would rather not be a cardiologist.
